Édouard Lauriault is a Canadian-born Industrial Designer and storyteller enthusiast based in Montréal, Canada. He fell deeply in love with the design field for its multidisciplinary nature, creative process, collaborative approach and sensibility.

Prior to working on his own multidisciplinary design practice, he worked at SACO Technologies Inc., a leader in LED video lighting, as an Industrial Designer, part of their Research and Development team. In the last two and a half years, he had the opportunity to contribute in the Sphere project’s success in Las Vegas, NV.

In addition to his experience at SACO Technologies Inc., he worked as an Industrial Designer at REPUBLIC OF II BY IV in Toronto where he developed his expertise in product design, including homeware, furniture, lighting, rugs and wallcoverings. In 2016, he completed a one year contract at Umbra as a Junior Industrial Designer. He received his Bachelor Degree in Industrial Design from University of Montréal in 2016, and he completed a semester abroad at STRATE, School of Design in Paris, in 2015.
