Écouter De Plus Près
T H E S I S
The project Écouter De Plus Près intends to offer a new musical dimension. By translating and accentuating music experience through tactile sound, the deaf community is then capable of discovering and feeling the foundations of a melody.
Using vibrations as a starting point, the wearable concept focuses on sensitive areas of the body to enhance the overall musical experience. The design is meant to be worn and to communicate a sense of comfort to the user. Internal compartments hold tactile transducers responsible for delivering a physical dimension of sound.
